All About You

The manufacturing Controller is responsible for preparing month-end closings, financial forecasts, and consolidations, providing financial advice to the manufacturing departments with financial data, meet corporate and division reporting requirements, manage training and evaluation of accounting staff, ensures accuracy of physical inventory. Other responsibilities include controlling the flow of raw materials, tools, and other assets in the facility.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Proven experience in financial management
  • Good communication skills with excellent people skills.
  • Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals.
  • Compliance oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in accounting software.

Responsibilities

  • Work with other executive decision makers to minimize risk and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts, and statements to understand the financial state of the business.
  • Monitor Saft's financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs.
  • Stay current on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and introduce new expansion areas.
  • Understand the financials to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state of the business in good standing as determined by internal and external auditors.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data.
  • Oversee and prepare income statements.
  • Manage financial transactions.
  • Participate in the budgeting process
  • Coordinate auditing processes
