We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Spiraler/Despiraler to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line, particularly in managing the spiraling and despiraling processes that are key to our manufacturing workflow. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail, as the Spiraler/Despiraler will oversee the bending of materials and the unwinding of finished products with precision. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing is a plus.
  • 6+ months of proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of machinery operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and work instructions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed to meet production demands.
  • Flexible Workforce Certification Program and/or JIT manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate spiraling and despiraling machinery to ensure smooth production flow.

Monitor and adjust machine settings for optimal performance and efficiency.

Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.

Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.

Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise in real-time.

Document production metrics and report findings to management.

Work in conjunction with and in support of other operators and the direction of the Supervisor.

Manual dexterity to gasp spirals and pallents of material required.

Ability to life 70 lbs.
