We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Autonomous Production Unit Manager to join our team. As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, from planning and scheduling to execution and delivery. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently, meeting all quality standards and deadlines. Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering is required
  • 10 years of manufacturing experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong computer skills (excel\retrieval, usage, and manipulation for interpretation from SQL database)
  • Strong lean manufacturing knowledge

Responsibilities

  • The individual that takes this role will oversee all aspects of the production activities within their assigned APU (Autonomous Production Unit).
  • The key focus areas of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Safety Improvements
  • Quality Assurance
  • Lean Manufacturing Implementation
  • Task Scheduling and Prioritization
  • Resource Utilization
  • Process Change Review
  • Employee Mentorship
  • The individual that takes this role will coordinate with Process Engineering, Design Engineering, Program Management, Quality, and Customers to ensure the on-time completion of the products to be manufactured at the correct quality level and within budget.
  • This position may require hands on production support on related activities. 
  • A person in this position is expected to spend 25-50% of their day on the shop floor supporting and overseeing work being performed within their area of responsibility

Salary Range

USD $120,000.00 - USD $135,000.00 /Yr.
