All About You

The Maintenance HVAC Technician will install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems at our facility. Will ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with safety and environmental standards.

Requirements

  • Install HVAC systems including ductwork, thermostats, and electrical components.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure system efficiency.
  • Diagnose and repair issues in HVAC systems (e.g., leaks, faulty wiring, broken components).
  • Replace or upgrade outdated systems and components.
  • Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • High school diploma required, with training in basic mechanical repairs.
  • Associates Degree, a plus. Must have good mechanical aptitude as demonstrated in prior jobs and/or education.
  • Hands on approach to solving equipment problems.
  • 4-6 years of HVAC/Plumbing experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety procedures.
  • Certification (e.g., EPA Section 608, NATE) is a plus
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications as well as mechanical drawings.
  • Lean, six-sigma, or equivalent problem-solving skills.
  • Self-directed, highly detail oriented, organized and flexible.
  • Must possess sufficient written and oral communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Must be a team player and able to work closely and independently in a team-oriented environment.
  • Must have sound rationalization skills, mathematical background and reasoning skills.

Salary Range

USD $31.00 - USD $35.00 /Yr.
