All About You

As a Industrial Engineering Technican, you will help us advance our products and applications. The electrification of everything starts with amazing people.  On a daily basis, the position will carry out various engineering tasks, such as preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, coordinating procedures and standards across departments, and working with BOM’s and ERP system. This position will also be involved with the analysis, design, development and implementation of new and/or existing processes, assist in design, development, analyzing documents, design reviews, work instructions and training materials.  

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering techncial role within a manufacturing or development process/setting
  • 2+ years relevant experience working in an industrial setting with responsiblities including manufacutring engineering and operations
  • Strong mechanical aptitude relating to complex equipment and mechanical components
  • Basic CAD knowledge
  • Application of lean manufacturing concepts
  • SPC and capability analysis
  • Problem solving abilities
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong organization and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform audits on manufacturing processes.
  • Assist engineers with the identification and remediation of chronic failure modes in manufacturing processes.
  • Assist team with process improvements: R&I process, Receiving process, Procurement (REQ process)
  • Assist with the implementation of process/equipment changes through the collection of process and equipment related data
  • Assist with the documentation of new processes and their corresponding work instructions and training materials to ensure robust manufacturing process are in place with the design and/or specification of tooling requirements to support manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes.
  • Create training material for the 210 process.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, coordinate procedures, and standards across departments.
  • Maintain ESS Document management system, ensuring all documentation is on the ESS DMS site, including all ESS documentation, calibration certifications, and incoming inspection documentation.
  • Provide support for the engineering team, including BOM support, Windchill, QAD and 210 process in the development of fixtures, equipment, components, and assemblies as needed
  • Quality Receiving and Inspection support. Receiving support (ensuring all container components are in house).
  • Other tasks as assigned to support the team
