Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or similar role, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of regulations related to the transportation of hazardous goods.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
  • Strong organizational skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on operational metrics.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.
  • Solid knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Manage and train warehouse staff, providing coaching and support to promote a high-performance culture.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee regular stock audits to minimize discrepancies and losses.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to customers.
  • Implement and optimize warehouse processes and layouts to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor equipment and facilities, ensuring proper maintenance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve overall supply chain performance and resolve any operational issues.
