We are looking for an Electrical Engineer who will help us advance our electrical products, systems, and applications.  The electrification of everything starts with amazing people.

The Elctrical Engineer for BESS projects is in charge of carrying out tests of electrical panels in battery systems. He/She will provide technical support during BESS project execution, and write relevant work instructions while following up with the successful completion of projects. The Electrical Engineer will study possible improvements and carry out optimization studies as necessary while ensuring control of performance objectives, cost and delivery time by improving test processes. This resource will carry out the industrialization / test of new products and will contribute to their development.

 

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • 3- 5 years minimum experience on a similar function
  • Proven experience in designing and testing electrical systems
  • Advanced mathematical skills
  • Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), EPLAN, Met LAB software and electrical engineering simulation tools
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for electrical safety and performance
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite:  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, One Note, Teams, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability work independently and part of a team
  • Detail-oriented and organized
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Willingness to continuously lean and stay updated on advancements in the field of electrical engineering

Responsibilities

  • Review and Manages changes in cabling process and industrial means/equipment and contributes to improving production performance/ test of the product.
  • Defines BESS project cabling process (based on electrical schematics) for electrical panels and performs quality checks to guarantee proper cabling.
  • Develops work instructions to ensure operators can clearly follow electrical processes during each project. Defines and implements tests for cabling for current or new BESS projects
  • Verifies and validates product / project electrical definitions and design. Responsible for validating electrical designs, drawings, and bill of material
  • Provides support to sourcing processes (purchase, quality, logistics, production) by sharing electrical expertise
  • Drives improvements on electrical design for BESS products and projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned
