All About You

The battery assembler will be responsible for assembling battery system, components, and sub-assemblies individually, and assembling these into battery container. The assembler will use various equipment and tools to maneuver components and test components to verify proper operation and safety.

Requirements

  • A minimum high school diploma
  • Previous work experience with electrical systems or certification in electrical or mechanical field helpful
  • Mechanical and technical skills aptitude
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 35 pounds
  • Stand or kneel in small places for long period of time

Responsibilities

  • Assembles the containerized battery and inspects to assembly requirements
  • Understand and comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Understand and comply with all company quality requirements
  • Use hadn tools and power tools to complete tasks
  • Be able to identify proper parts and inspect for quality or performance issues
  • Prep and assemble components, wires, and assemblies per work instructions
  • Use mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics to complete assemblies
  • Inspect, install and test various components with various test equipment tools
