All About You

The Project Manager is responsible for assuming overall responsiblity for assigned projects and coordinating the activities of the assigned project team including all changes of scope for ongoing projects.  The project manager identifies, manages and controls project risks to minimize exposure while meeting client needs and project budget.  The role is accountable for revenue recognition, timely and accurate invoicing, and for eliminating disputes/past dues.  The project manager ensures there is a clear undersanding of the project commercial and technical requirements by the project team.  

Requirements

  • Manage engineering activities related to customer projects and product development through design reviews, problem solving support, analytical support, design process leadership.
  • Execute project management tasks following processes and procedures in Saft's QMS
  • Lead project team activities in the engineering, procurement, manufacturing installation and commissioning
  • Adherance with PM standards and business conduct guidelines (tax regulations, export control, EHS)
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement promotion within the unit. 
  • Timely project reporting and communication, with identification of risks
  • Apply professional knowledge of EPC project delivery methods including expert working knowledge and understanding of all project management control systems (scheduling, estimating, cost control, procurement) with good knowledge of Energy Storage Solutions
  • Aply strong leadership, motivational skills, including the abijlity to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations with ability to negotiate and manage confrontation topics
  • Support pre-project efforts including estimation of time and effort; estimation of cost
  • Contribute to a safe working environment. 
  • Support our team members and work to ensure their understanding of, and ability to support a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

  • BS in Engineering, or higher degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in Project management and 5 years of experience in technical development lead.
  • Specific Knowledge of Lio-ion Technology, Battery Management Systems, Energy Storage Systems, Leadership.
