We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Battery Test Technician to join our innovative team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and performance of battery systems.  As a Battery Test Technician, you will be responsible for conducting tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with engineers to improve battery technology. Requirements

  • Associate degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electro-chemistry and battery technologies.
  • Ability to read blueprints and material specifications.
  • Experience with laboratory testing and measurement equipment (i.e., multi-meters, IR testers, thermocouple meters, etc.).
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and documentation tools and general computer skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High voltage DC training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine tests on battery cells and systems to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Document test results accurately and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to develop testing protocols and improve methodologies.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to battery performance and provide solutions.
  • Maintain testing equipment and ensure calibration standards are met.
  • Analyze and interpret data using software tools and statistical methods.
  • Support research and development by testing new battery prototypes and materials.
  • May require some work to be done in a dry room atmosphere (low humidity, air conditioned)

Salary Range

USD $19.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
