We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Process and Equipment Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our production processes and equipment. As a Process and Equipment Technician, you will apply your technical expertise to troubleshoot, repair, and optimize various machinery and systems essential for our operations. You will collaborate closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all equipment operates smoothly and safely. Your hands-on experience with process equipment will enable you to implement preventative maintenance strategies and respond to unexpected machine failures promptly. This position requires a proactive attitude and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and/or electrical education or equivalent training/apprenticeship.
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in chemical processes or electronics manufacturing.
  • Proven experience with repair and preventative maintenance work on Program Logic Control (PLC) machines in a production facility.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and documentation.
  • Experience with HMIs and LabView is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency situations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on all process equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during all operations.
  • Contribute to a continuous improvement culture within the World Class framework such as 8Ds, Production Management Routines (PMRs), etc.

Salary Range

USD $25.00 - USD $33.00 /Hr.
